About The Adnostic
Lauren Isaacson is an Account Planning superhero and a prominent member of the advertising community in the greater Los Angeles area.
Half geek, half pop-culture addict, Lauren has the mutant power to research and develop strategies for many kinds of brands; including automobiles, software, financial services, hospitality services, and consumer packaged goods. She uses her control over the web to give major brands the powers of digital interaction.
Lauren was a new business assistant at a lowly Yellow Pages ad agency before her powers manifested. Afterwards, she traveled to a direct marketing agency where she was worshipped as a junior AP, but joined a web design firm to fight for a brand that only has a fraction of their competitors advertising budget.
Her alter ego, also known as “Lauren Isaacson,” enjoys riding and showing horses, reading, cooking, going to indie rock, punk, and roots shows, and traveling. She is known to often succeed in making her friends laugh, but sometimes fails miserably and turns a bright shade of red from the resulting embarrassment.
Although she has a reputation for retaining a tough exterior, Lauren maintains a not-so-secret weakness for Greyhounds, kittens, a certain Canadian web designer, bunnies, and horses that nuzzle her ear. She is also frightened of roller coasters, Jell-o molds, and children.
